The Marine Navigation (previously Piloting) course focuses on navigation as it is done on recreational boats today and embraces GPS as a primary navigation tool while covering enough of traditional techniques so the student will be able to find his/her way even if their GPS fails.

The Cruising and Cruise Planning course focuses on the planning and preparation necessary for safe enjoyable extended cruises on both inland and coastal waters. In person -- not online.

Palisades Clubhouse, 540 Society Street, Alpharetta 30022 St. Patrick\'s Day social (in lieu of regular general meeting) with a fun program showing appreciation for instructors, vessel safety examiners and other volunteers earning merit marks.

Sail is applicable to the needs of the novice and experienced sailor covering: basic sailboat designs and nomenclature, rigging, safety, and sail processes and then tackles the physical aspects of sailing forces and techniques, and more. Mostly instructor-led, online course that includes a sail day on Lake Lanier. Exact schedule TBD.
