Learn Basic Safe Boating

In-Person and Online Interactive Learning

America’s Boating Club Atlanta teaches the nationally recognized Basic Safe Boating class formally called America’s Boating Course. It is the nation’s premier basic boating safety course, having been approved by the US Coast Guard and the State of Georgia. The Corps of Engineers and Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources (DNR) have teamed with America’s Boating Club Atlanta to offer this 8-hour course. All instructors are certified for teaching this class to the recreational boating public. 

Course Fee: $25 per student  

Course fee may be paid via Zelle, PayPal or check. More details on payment options after you register.

The in-person course is taught in 8-hours on a Saturday at a location around Lake Lanier. The online interactive class is in two Wednesday evening 2-hour online sessions and one Saturday morning 4-hour online session.
